Who we are

Y00R makes websites by chatting, at y00r.com. "We" and "us" on this page mean Y00R.

What we keep

• Your pages and their chats: what you type to make a page, the page, and its pictures. Anyone with a page's id can read its chat.
• Chats with us: what you write to us, and our answers.
• What you give us: your email, and your name, business, website or phone if you tell us.
• A visit log: the pages you open here, your internet address, your browser's name, and roughly where the address is (the city, from a public database). We keep it 90 days.
• Your device's print: your browser's screen size, time zone, languages and graphics, so we can tell when two visits are one person.
• Notes for our sales: from your chats and visits we keep notes, such as what you want and what you ask about. Our AI reads them to answer you, and a person at Y00R can read and correct them.
• Payments: what you bought, when, and how much. Your card details stay with Square or Stripe.

Businesses we find

If you run a business, we may find it in public map listings and public business records, look at its website, and keep its public contact details, to show you what a new site could look like. We only send it email when we switch that on, and every email has a link to stop them. We only email businesses in the US this way.

Cookies

• y00r_v: tells us it is the same browser when you come back, kept 400 days. It also tells us which browser made a page, so that browser can keep changing it.
• A chat cookie: keeps your conversation with us yours.
• Sign-in cookies: keep you signed in to your HQ, for 30 days.
• In your browser: the ids of pages you made lately, and a code you used, so you do not have to type them again.
• No advertising cookies, and no other company's trackers on our pages.

Who else sees it

• Square or Stripe, when you pay.
• The company that sends our email: Namecheap.
• The AI services that write our replies and pages, Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (Codex), read what they need for that.
• Google's PageSpeed Insights, when you ask us to check a website: only that site's address.
• We never sell your data.

Emails

We email you about what you asked for: your page, your plan, your invoices. You get our newsletter only if you ticked the box and confirmed it from the email we sent you. Our newsletter notes which links you click.

Every email that sells has a one-click link to stop them, and our postal address. Stop, and we never email you about pages again.

How long we keep it

Free pages: asleep 30 days after your last click, deleted 365 days after it. The visit log: 90 days. The rest: until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

• Stop our emails with the link in any of them.
• Ask us to delete what we keep about you, and we will.
• Clear your cookies any time. Pages you made stay, and the link we emailed you lets you change them again.

Changes

We may change this policy. The date at the top says when it last changed.
